Strasmore Privacy Policy

Last Updated: March 6, 2026 Effective Date: March 6, 2026

At Strasmore, Inc. ("Strasmore," "we," "us," or "our"), we take your privacy and the security of your data seriously. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you visit our website (strasmore.com), access our API, or use our AI Analyst and high-performance computing platform (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the site or use our Services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with you ("Personal Information"). The categories of information we collect include:

  • Account and Contact Information: When you request access, register for an account, or contact us, we collect your name, work email address, company name, and password.
  • Billing Information: If you purchase a subscription (e.g., The Analyst, The Quant, The Sovereign), we collect payment details. Note that all payment processing is handled by secure third-party processors (e.g., Stripe), and we do not store your full credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Query and AI Input Data: We collect the natural language prompts, code snippets, and specific financial queries you submit to our AI Analyst and Direct SQL API.
  • Telemetry and Usage Data: We automatically collect diagnostic and usage information when you interact with our platform. This includes IP addresses, browser types, operating systems, API request volumes, query execution times, and routing metrics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To Provide and Maintain the Services: Authenticating your access, provisioning your bare-metal clusters, and generating responses via the AI Analyst.
  • To Improve Performance: Analyzing API telemetry, query execution times, and vectorized engine performance to optimize load balancing and reduce latency across our infrastructure.
  • To Communicate with You: Sending administrative information, billing notices, platform updates, technical alerts, and responding to customer support requests.
  • To Ensure Security and Compliance: Monitoring for fraudulent activity, enforcing our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, and maintaining the integrity of our hardware and network.

3. How We Share Your Information

Strasmore does not sell your Personal Information. We only share your information in the following situations:

  • Service Providers: We may share data with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating our platform, conducting our business, or processing payments, provided those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental regulation, including obligations stemming from SEC, FINRA, or CFTC inquiries.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your Personal Information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. AI Data and Algorithmic Privacy

We understand that the queries and pipelines you build on Strasmore may constitute highly sensitive proprietary trading algorithms. We do not use your specific API SQL queries, backtesting parameters, or AI Analyst prompts to train foundational AI models that compete with you. We do, however, monitor query structure metadata to optimize our clickhouse-connect routing and database indexing.

5. Data Security and Retention

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures, including encryption and strict access controls on our bare-metal servers, to help protect your Personal Information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.

We will retain your Personal Information and query history only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. As stated in our Terms of Service, upon account cancellation, all Customer data, queries, and pipelines are systematically destroyed for your privacy and security.

6. Your Data Rights

Depending on your location (such as if you reside in California or the European Economic Area), you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the Personal Information we have collected about you.
  • Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete Personal Information.
  • Request that we delete your Personal Information.
  • Opt-out of certain data processing activities.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the email address provided below. We will respond to your request within the timeframe required by applicable law.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal obligations. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
